An unbiased assesment...

A shockingly miserable performance from the tykes probably ends their hopes of 2nd spot. Brentford though were very very good. Especially 1st half. Our 1st half performance was as bad as i've seen us all season.

we improved 2nd half and showed good character but we were 2nd best all afternoon.

The ref and linesman on the dug out side should be getting a handsome cheque from Greg Dyke after their showing. The away end was stood open mouth at some of the decisions. Even Brentford fans were a little bemused.

A few things that shouls emerge as a result of this game.

Martun Devaney should be benched for the rest of the season. I've never seen such a abject, non commited performance. He looked at Ritchie pleading to be taken off. His 'injury' reminded me of Kewell against AC Milan.

Tommy Wright and Mcparland impressed me and should see more action. They were the only players who showed up for us.

If this is anything to go by then we aint going nowhere. But well done Brentford
