He was in and around the Exec Stand all match, smiling and chatting to folk. Amazing how one untruth is latched onto and from that people are now saying he should never wear the shirt again? Still, makes a good story.
probably good advice then. You're not fit to wear that shirt AIRy. I suggest plenty of exercise, or go up one size to 52 chest 28" neck?
He was in the legends suite for the match, from 3pm onwards. I don't know what happened at 2pm but he didn't "storm off" home.
Wasn't he supposed to be on the bench?
I think Kay should start- he didn't deserve dropping.
But I heard that he was dropped to the bench and refused. So that's storming off in my book, whether or not he goes for a pint, mows his lawn or sits in the exec.
I wouldn't mind knowing what happened because I personally think Ant is an asset and could become a very good defender in years to come for BFC.

RE: Wasn't he supposed to be on the bench? Did you hear that from a reliable source or was it just the usual scuttlebut from from mischievous rumourmongers.
According to Oakwell 1575 As I was travelling to the match, they said his name was down as one of the substitutes but had been crossed off & Neil Austin's name written in instead.
RE: According to Oakwell 1575 Interesting.
A case for Sherlock Holmes. Team sheet sabotage?
Didn't Davey say on Radio De Da that Kay was left out by accident?
(casualty)

RE: According to Oakwell 1575 Didn't Davey say on Radio De Da that Kay was left out by accident?
If that's true then we have an idiot for a manager. Accident, don't be ridiculous? ffs.

All he said (when Dave Cooper asked him about it) was "we picked a team we thought could win the game". That's all I remember him saying on the issue. Maybe Simon would argue that Aussie is a better option on the bench than Kay.
