    You are joking!!!

Last time he played there he was god awful. He's been good at centre half this season, really surprised me.

What's Davey's big idea here? Destroy his form?

Has Howard played his last game then?

I Like Kay In Midfield Because.........

he likes taking people on so when he loses the ball, at least he is a little further up the field.

    what I don't understand

is that paul reid is just recovering from an injury and might not manage a full game yet there is still no replacement on the bench.

yep, agree. Kay is much better at the back in my opinion. wot's happened to playing with someone who is an actual midfielder, ie tonge or wroe. I know they are not the best, but at least they play in that position! wot's davey on wi?!

putting tonge on so late was the single most stupid decision i've ever seen

I really do not understand what davey hoped to achieve with the clock on 87 minutes. The game was lost, we didnt have an hope in hell of getting anything and the substitution did nothing to help and was never going to at such a late point.

    :D nobody will ever know.

I'm going to just assume that the manager knows not what he is doing.

Starting with Williams in centre midfield when you've got Tonge who can play there or even Hayes or .....anybody else..........I honestly thought Davey was trying to NOT get the job....theres something strange going off at Oakwell lets hope its not AFC syndrome

it is the oddest managerial appointment that I can remember

I had a conversation with a couple of people where all of us said that playing williams in midfield had not only cost us the game but it had cost davey his job because nobody in their right mind would give it to him after that. Can't believe that less than 24 hours later it is announced that he is the manager
