    Couldn't understand why we kept Reid but got rid of Kay. Supposedly Kay liked going out for a drink, but in my opinion it was up to the manager to discipline him properly and turn him round, not wash his hands of him.

    Kay was out of contract, Reid wasn't. Neither are as good as the players Davey brought in

    Kay is playing at his standard of football now, not good enough for championship.

    Kay broke the rules after being warned

    Deserved all he got.

    Saying that, I hope he's sorted it out.

    Didn't realise that. Personally thought Reid was better but neither would (or have) got a game this season

    Nyatanga's been outstanding all season, AGAIN! If anyone, Souza's been poor.

    I like the bit where he say's Kay likes to get the ball down and play :eek: As i remember it, it was see how far Anthony Kay could kick it everytime he got the ball.

    would rather have him at tranmere than

    any of the superior players who replaced him, i really dont think weve missed him at all

    Me neither. Certainly not missed his howlers anyway. I think the amount we have managed this season is about his personal limit over the same period.

    give over, souza alone has made more mistakes than Kay. He was costing us around a goal a game every week for the first couple of months.

    But Antony Kay was a local lad , so he must have been rubbish.

    He was not good enough irrespective of his birthplace

    IMHO

    souza and Nyatanga are much better.

    perhaps better than reid in purely football terms

    but its not just about his football abilities

    If that is the case

    then how come Reid was given a new contract, he was with Richards when Richards jumped out of the taxi. plus our captain this season is a regular in certain drinking establishments.
    The same rule should have applied to all players.

    Anyway thats all past history.
