Played football with him as a youth, he was always a right knob! And believe it or not tue worst of very good bunch of young lads
I really liked him as a player, but always thought he would have been a better holding midfielder than centre back.
Seems an ok lad he's mates with our young un. He said he was always gonna resign for them to be fair.
When I was doing my journalism/media thing at college, he was on the same site doing sports science. Seemed a decent lad, had a few £1 pints in the union with him and Austin. Then watched em laik football at Oakwell on the weekends soon after. There's a reason he's not laiked against us though - we've been above his clubs mostly.

They're probably better judges than us about his quality. He's not played for us for 7 years so there me be a good chance he's improved in that time.Look at Jay rodriguez and Jonathan Walters.
