    did he go to Birdwell school 1936 to 1942
    im just hoping there is some one left

    nah but mi dad lived just over the way at Tankersley. He's 74 now and called Jim (Jimmy then perhaps), he had a younger brother Gordon, older brothers Alf and Ernest and older sisters Olive and Flo. He'd have gone to Tankersley School/Kirk Balk though.

    Was Ray Holiday brought up on the Walk ? If so he was my Mothers cousin, lived in Dodworth last I knew, he had (has?) a daughter called Lynn</p>

    Terry still lives on the walk,he's a nice bloke and goes to the quiz at the **** inn. He budies up with trev grange and they are the ones to beat.Where do you live mate ? I'm on the bird bungalow estate.
