    looking at lexmark x2690 at £40 or lexmarkx6690 at £60 are the any good just got new camera. cheers

    Inks tend to be really expensive

    It looks cheap but may cost in the long run

    As Liverpool red says Ink prices are quite expensive

    Check how many pages per cartridge and cartridge prices.

    You might find a slightly more expensive HP or Cannon one is cheaper in the long run

    They are cheap - think they are expensive on there as well compared to others

    I use HP printers for my business and at home. Good reliable printers and decent ink cartridge prices.

    i've got the HP photosmart 3310 wireless all in one which i'm really happy with.

    like all the others have said the lexmark printers are cheap as but in the long run you end up paying more 'cos they use more ink for some reason.

    whichever you buy, make sure it has individual colour cartridges, that way if you run out of yellow you don't need to buy blue & red as well (but i think this is fairly standard these days).

    mine has 5 seperate colour cartridges & 1 black.
