I need an eye catching brochure designing advertising my work painting pictures of folk's big posh houses. Simple, but something to appeal to an upmarket clientele who's wealth I intend to re-distribute my way.:)

Try advertising on elance.com or getafreelancer.com

You will probably get it done or there very cheap!

It's worth a go, although I didn't have the best of times when I used Elance.

Had loads of bids, accepted one which wasn't the highest but wasn't the cheapest either (had decent feedback), some Indian guy called Govind - He made a lot of progress quite quickly (was a website conversion from HTML to work with a content management system) but he had only transferred about 40% of the content...I asked him why not and he said something like "No, you need to do that", totally confused me to be honest. I left it a couple of days without replying and then he started asking to be paid, I said he hadn't finished the job, he sent more confusing messages and demanded to be paid (on Elance you pay up front but release the money when you're happy with the work), I couldn't be @rsed with him any more so I just paid him and did the rest myself as it wasn't difficult but still took me the best part of a day.

Then he started badgering me to leave him feedback, I thought I'd rather not write anything as I didn't have anything particularly positive to write - he'd done half of a half-@rsed job and was lucky to be paid at all. He emailed me on average about six times a week for the next few months asking me to leave him feedback, I ignored him...the emails then stopped but all of a sudden I started receiving emails from Indian dating sites and other junkmail from Indian companies...looks like the tw@t had decided to get some sort of revenge on me just for not leaving him any feedback.

What I'm basically saying is keep it in the UK if you use any freelancer site - you'll probably pay twice as much depending on what it is but the quality of work and communication will be much better.

It's a simple job, would suit a student for example.

My neighbour is a freelance designer & her partner is a printer.

If you still need someone send me a pm and I'll get their details to you.
