Being fair to the football league

They do claim that certain clubs in financial difficulties actually ask for long distance games to be played at midweek at night because it means they don't have to pay for an hotel on the night before a game and can just drive down in the morning instead. These clubs clearly dont care about their own fans.

Of course we might not be one of these clubs but it does explain why it sometimes happens to fans.

I'm sure some clubs do think like that, I would hope ours doesn't though! Have just e-mailed the football league after completing their monotonous survey...doubt it will have much effect, but like to put my money where my mouth is!
