Can anybody give me any genuine in the know information about if we will sign one more first team ready player on loan or permanent before the end of the transfer window please?
All I've seen is the Luke Thomas rumours. I suppose if he did go out on loan I'd be surprised if we didn't have somebody in mind as a replacement.
Doubt we will replace thomas if he leaves on loan, he was alway played in the front 3 mainly as sub but we have woodrow, chaplin, Victor, freezer, Miller, schmidt and Morris all fighting for a place in the front 3 if he leaves.
My thinking is just that he seems ahead of Schmidt, and has started or come on as a sub most games. Even with Morris, who I think will end up pretty much first choice, I think a player like Thomas obviously offers something which VI wants. If he goes out on loan then maybe he's just not the right person to play that role right now, but I definitely don't see it being filled by Schmidt or Morris.
