Funnily enough on the team picture (which by the way will be another waste of money come the end of the season cos loads of the lads on there are only on loan, and others will go on free's in the summer!) Hayes looks the happiest one on there..well except Robbie Williams who looks live he just got told he will be playing up front at the w/end!
If the team was picked based on effort and attitude shown during the week in training, I reckon Hayes might force his way back into the side. He's one of few really creative players we have, and assuming Peter is fit, Hayes and Howard might be the ones to provide the pass into feet that he's going to need. Away from home though, both will also need to battle. For what its worth, my punt at the team for this weekend: Colgan Hassell P Reid Nyatanga Eckersley Hayes Togwell Howard K Reid Peter Steve
I'd go with that squad too. My take on Satdi....
I think the reason we're so poor away is we think we have to go and play the defensive game. Palace, QPR to an extent, Leicester in the 2nd half, Wolves, Norwich (list goes on) all games where we've shown teams too much respect. You didn't see Colchester coming to us thinking they might sit back and sneak one on the break. Get those creative players working in midfield and go and have a go at em. Thats what we were doing with Richie at the helm. If we lose, fair enough, but we've more chance of getting summat by having a go at em. Hopefully withMr Nyatangawe have a defender who the other players can trust to cover the back whilst they look at going forward.
We should treat it like a home game- it is a home game for Howie and I know he'll be looking to do well there. Lets hope everyone is up for it.

Been watching training now have we? You and Johnny share a sarnie?
Pass into feet, ha,ha,ha,ha...... new tactics then?

You should try it your twisted and uniformed diatribe would definately benefit from first hand of experience. assuming you do go to games, and that you're actually interested in why decisions are made on team selection rather than just happy to take pot shots from the safety of your keyboard. I took a days holiday from work to go to the club, my previous comments were based on what I saw in the 11 v 11 organised by the manager. just that.
Raziak tipped by some to be league top scorer, will need back 4 to be on top form, no stupid free kicks near the box either cos we struggle to line a wall up it seems and Bale wil capitalise. whatever we get from the game will be a bonus, the main event is on Tuesday night, looks like Hull are bringing 6,000, hope we dont freeze in front of a decent crowd like against Wendies.
Hull game is massive- can't make it up there either Tuesday
I hate listening to internet commentary- far too nerve wracking. I think I'll go down the pub and forget its on.

RE: You should try it uniformed diatribe?Do I have to dress up or summat. Definitely.
Andy Ritchie for Bradford? Hayes as a target man? That just about sums up your total lack of footballing knowledge. You set yourself up as if you're in the know, when you're just a total muppet, or is that puppet?

I'd put him up front with one of the hungarian lads He's good on the ball and can bring them into the game - he would also be able to feed off their flick on's
Who said anything as Hayes at 'targetman'? your brain cell might remember it that way, but computer says no. do a search. I spoke to a Bradford player over a beer in December who told me Ritchie was hot favourite to replace Todd. just that. now Im not 'in the game' to adopt a phrase, but I am prone to actively listening to what Im being told by people who clearly do know FACTS. Having established that you're not interested in that, and that you only really come on here to overlay your negative nonsense on anything that anyone says, I have to say it is a shame really cos there are people that come on to find stuff out, hence the number of PMs that get sent. but as always in life, a minority tend to spoil it for the majority. I dont class TFP in that, who you seem desperate to imitate, which he find immensely funny no doubt, cos he knows he's being a c.nt when he's doing it.
