    Well this is my opinion

    Steele 7
Had a quiet first half but was put under pressure in the 2nd half and made some good saves.

Kozluk 6 (subbed haf time for) El Haimour 7
Didn't really see much of Kozzie, but a couple of times there striker got in behind him. The same can't be said for El Haimour who managed to keep up with there pacey winger and put in some good sliding tackles.

    Ramsey 7
Looks a good prospect, hope Davey signs him. He's only 19 i think and he won everything in the air, and even his long balls seemed t go direct to Boggy 90% of the time, looked a good player.

Foster 7 (subbed half time for) Moore 6
As always foster was solid at the back. Moore was clumsy and gave away a couple of daft free kicks. Obviously not at his best because the Buxton centre forward even managed to knock him off his feet.

Chanot 6 (subbed Half time for) Potter 6
Chanot looked a little clumsy, but won the ball in the air like you'd expect a tall centre half to do. Didn't see much of Potter, but we gave away a few too many chances in the 2nd half for me.

Devaney 6 (subbed Half time for) Adam 7
Devaney never really got into the game, and when he was making runs, Heslop for one didn't spot him doing so and he didn't get used to his potential. Adam looked lively and had to create from midfield because Morgan and Macken were both quiet.

Sodje 7 (subbed Half time for) Noble- Lazarus 6
Sodje played on the left wing and looked powerful going forward, had two great chances, one a header over and one similar to boggy's 2nd goal, but Sodje hit the post. RNL also looked lively down the left, seemed to pick up a knock about 20 minutes into the half and never really got back into the game.

Colace 6 (Subbed Half time for) Anderson 5
Hugo played his usual 1 touch game which i particularly don't like. He did have some good flick on's but gave away the ball way too easy for me. However he was better than Anderson, who looked very uninterested if im honest. Held onto the ball for so long and then his back passes were more of a hinderance than a help

Heslop 5 (Subbed Half time for) Butterfield 5
Both Heslop and Butterfield didn't look good to me. Heslops passing in particular was poor and he often resulted to just knocking a long ball forward. Butterfied never really got stuck in.

Bogdanovic 7 (Subbed Half time for) Macken 6
For the first game back, Boggy looked really sharp and good going forward. Took his goals really well but then started to try do more and lost the ball a couple of times as a result, but did play well on the whole. Macken as usual put in the effort, but had a poor partner up front in Morgan. Johnny often had to play backwards to Adam.

Odejayi 7 (Subbed Half time for) Morgan 4 (generous)
KO worked his nuts off like he always does for me, and proved a handful even though he was very clumsy and tripped over the ball too often, but he did score which is a start i suppose. Whereas Dean Morgan seemed to back out of every challenge, never really got sight of goal, hardly ever managed to direct a pass where it was intended and for me, isn't the answer to our goalscorer woes.

Well it's only 1 game, against Buxton, but even so i thought he looked solid and compared to the other young players that played last night he was probably the best performer. Then again i've said that in the past and we've signed players who have turned out to be total flops.

Interesting - I thought Heslop looked quite good.

He's put on a bit of weight and doesn't get knocked of the ball easily now. Also made some good passes out to the wings. Granted, he's not quite first team material yet but I think you're being a little harsh with a score of 5.

The team in the second half were all pretty grim IMO. I wasn't surprised when it ended scoreless.

Just my opinion, but in the first half, there was a moment where Heslop went to play the bal down the wing and sliced it out of play. I heard both Foster and Devaney both try to keep his head up as if he'd just missed a penalty in the world cup final. And a couple of minutes later he did something similar again which prompted Disco to say something like, 'come on, it's not ******* happening Hessie. And tbh i didn't really think much of his performance. Shame really because i first saw him play for Tamworth a couple of years back against Norwich in the FA cup on the BBC, and he was outstanding, but i just havn't seen him produce anything similar, maybe i'm expecting too much of him.
