After all the stick he has had over the last few weeks it would be nice to hear the fans get behind him as well as the team.

This season reminds of the one where Glyn Hodges kept us up.

I dont recall anyone chanting his name.

I won’t be chanting his name.

Was that any better than the performance at Southampton.

Good job they where useless as it was just basically getting lucky with a boring negative performance to me.

Maybe others see it differently but at the end of the day a win a win and I’m happy with that, just hoped we could show a little bit more flair.

    a "boring negative performance".....

.........is how most sides get 1-0 wins away from home. How many times last season did teams come to Oakwell and get a point by stopping us from playing?

Anyway, Stoke weren't useless at all, they were a decent passing side who were unable to break us down due to a superb defensive display. End of story.

AS ONE OF THE ONLY SIMON DAVEY FANS AROUND HERE I JUST WANT TO SAY HE'S GOT US LOOKING HARD TO BEAT AND THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO BE TO STAY UP, LAST NIGHT WE DEFENDED AS A TEAM, DIDN'T STOP WORKING, AND DIDN'T LOSE CONCENTRATION EVEN THOUGH STOKE PILED ON THE PRESSURE, REID, NYATANGA, TOGWELL & MCCANN PLAYED WELL IN A FORMATION THAT SUITED THEM, THE HURGARIANS WERE BOTH SUPERB, RUNNING, CHASING, CLOSING DOWN AND ON THE ONE AND ONLY COUNTER ATTACK SCORED A GREAT GOAL, CREDIT TO THE TEAM & MANAGEMENT EVEN IF IT WASN'T PRETTY TO WATCH, BRING ON NORWICH WE NEED REVENGE!
