It says Polish poser for midfielder Burns. Only a cash deal will allow Jacob Burns to leave Barnsley before his contract runs out this summer. It goes on to say that he is available to play against Colchester tomorrow. The Polish side are keen to sign Burns but do not want to pay a fee.
RE: It says Keen to sign but dont want to pay hmmm not that keen then! We are keen to sign Frank Lampard but dont want to pay either
To be honest I dont think it will make any difference He isnt going if he stays with us and he isnt going if he moves to Poland.
For now. It says that the dael isn't dead in the water, but if they can't come up with suitable remuneration, Jacob will remain here. According to Andy Ritchie if Jacob leaves we have enough cover - Howard, Kay, Wroe, Tonge Hassell and even Reid.
On second thoughts may be.............................................. Coming from the "mighty" Leeds, he may on a very large wage package for League One or even the Championship. Perhaps we still need to bring wages down to the League One level.
If that's the case I withdraw my critisism of Ritchie in this matter.
But more honesty from the Club would be appreciated.
