Any of you guys know how likely it is to see a decent amount of action on day 5 of an ashes test match? Tickets on sale for Headingley, £20 but non refundable if there's no cricket.
how longs a piece of string.....some 5th days are all over by lunchtime... me personally I wouldnt bother, unless it was more realistically priced...
Me But that decision is up to you, I'm not saying go for it cos then when we lose in 4 days you'll blame me
Day 5 at Headingly? Unlikely. It's traditionally a results pitch where swing is highly effective and with two pretty gung-ho batting sides. I'd wait and take advantage of the 'come in for free as you're only going to see an hour of play' offers that will be announced on day 4. If it lasts that long.
RE: Me I actually think we'll win. I'm going to day 4 so it better not be over 2 fast. A nice win late on day 4'll suit me fine!
RE: Me Day 3...!!! (dancin) (dancin) (dancin) (dancin) (rockon) (blaze) (bustin) (bustin) (bustin)

been batting wickets at headingley this season. just a pity yorkshire can't fecking bat so every chance the test may go late into the 5th day, if england bat well
Headingley tests always get a result. Not always the right one. Went yesterday and a food stall was serving all sorts. Now i've tried Kangaroo before but I was put off trying Ostrich. The sign said it's low in fat, lean and low in carbs. It must taste of nothing. They were selling other things as well like Grasshoppers I think as well.
Eh? The topic is asking if there's Cricket fans out there so i'm replying about cricket in a cricket topic.
Bumped this thread from 2 months ago for those that haven't noticed, thought it was pretty funny after England's dismal performance.
