    Okay here's what's happened?

Joined ebay this morning trying to get a Nintendo Wii thingy.

Found some listings and decided okay I can live with that price, nothing like the £600 that people have been paying.

Anyway, clicked on 'buy now' entered my details and pressed 'pay now'. Immediately the words'transaction cancelled' appeared. Couldn't work out what was wrong so I checked the details and tried again and then again. Each time the process didn't complete.

Just phoned my bank and the transaction has gone out 3 times. Hurrah. wtf do I do now.

Try buying it 3 more times to see if that cancels out the 3 times you've bought it already.

    Easy.

Have a Wii in the living room, one in the bedroom & one in the kitchen.
A bit like SM every Friday neet.

I don't know what you should do.
Maybe you could get Site Admin to remove your multiple bids, or summat?

I'm gutted that you're not even listed as the funniest BBS poster.
I'd have voted for you - but my name was on there too.

    Hmm, well...

First thing to do in any emergency like this would be to post a message on the BFC BBS - let everyone know what a complete and utter feckwittian you are.

Second thing, wait fot all the pisstakes and crap advice to roll in.

Look exasperated, then start ranting at your monitor.

Go to your online bank and marvel at how quickly the money disappeared from your account.

Do some more ranting at your monitor.

Vow to never tell the BBS about the next time you are a feckwit.

Under the Distance Selling Regs you should be allowed to cancel any internet transaction within 7 days.

    RE: Hmm, well...

I've done the bank thing, I've contacted the seller and there are **** all phone numbers to call ebay.

Posting on the BBS wasn't my first action.

My bank has told me to wait 3 working days to see if the transaction gets cancelled automatically. Which I thought was ace advice.

You can either pay me £185 an hour for more info or look ont internet. If you've bought it from within Europe these regs should apply.

£185 an hour for 'more info' - pfffffff.

Go on then, but I only want quarter of an hour of info and a bit of anal.
