not something I have every done so don't feel like I'd want t attempt it , but the wife has an Casio electronic wind Synth which has developed a screech when it's played. Apparently it is a common fault and is easily rectified by replacing a capacitor. Is there anyone he who would be able to sort it ( I am willing to pay). thanks in advance.
Have a look at www.abielectronics.co.uk They do contract electronic manufacture, based in Dodworth, and also design their own products. They don't normally do repairs but if you know exactly which capacitor needs changing, they have all the necessary equipment and skills and may be able to help. By the way, if anyone else reads this, they are at the moment also looking to recruit an electronic engineer or two........
A million miles over my head but good to see such a firm working out of Barnsley. Hope they go from strength to strength.
Founded in 1983, so been around a long time but they've always been content to stay fairly small, so not much is known about them around town. Most of their products are exported, but the manufacturing side may be of interest to more local companies.
