    thing is though, they aren't butchering that song. They're covering it (badly) but that doesnt take anything away from the original.

    think the remaining members of the jam playing bingley/myrtle park,west yorkshire 1st september and its free.....outdoor venue.....be good in the sun.support acts as well.

    for years and today i was telling my mate at work about hearing re the new Graham Poll autobiography and he said he is currently reading a book on Friday, cue a long discussion along the lines of the welsh Georgie Best etc

    You are quite correct, it is Robin Friday and yes, I saw him play during his short spell at Cardiff - including the game against Luton in that picture. Think that's when he developed legendary status tbh.

    Brilliant player, all the skill in the world, but headshot.

    His book is "The greatest player you never saw - the Robin Friday Story" btw - someone mentioned it below
