any ideas how to get out of going to meadowhall?

I susposed to be going to meadowhall this afternoon and can't be arsed! i was meeting a friend there but don't want to go - any suggestions for getting out of it! i've tried the one about being attacked by a giant squid - hasn't worked though!

there has been a derailment of the sheffield train which has crashed onto the M1 which is blocked both ways and will not be clear til this evening-and the rail network will be closed for the next 2 days?? and your helicopter is being serviced
