Any landlords on here ever had issues with DPS?

Had a tenant who has caused some damage to property i discovered following a property inspection.

Long story short tenant wanted bond back in disputed because of what repairs would cost to deal with damage and this caused a dispute with DPS. I forwarded photographic evidence of damage for DPS to evaluate.

After 4 weeks to mull it over I have had a reply saying bond awarded to tenant as evidence provided was not sufficient.

Can't be appealed and decision stands.

    Anyone else had any issues?

Unless you agreed a photographic schedule of condition detailing the state of the property prior to letting it out, you might be on dodgy ground.
