i thought he would be a good signing and nothing seems to have been said for a while? Also when do the premier league sides have to announce their squads? got the impression something was happening there too?
Hill said he would be "assessing" him in two weeks time about a week ago and said he might go elsewhere unless he is patient as he (Hill) woudl not be rushed into making any decisions on him. Probably using ProZone or summat.
Because he is about 4 week behind the rest of the team in terms of fitness, Hill wanted another fortinght (as of last thursday) to look at him. He seemed fairly keen on signing him however he realised that Reid could look elsewhere, and that he had other players on his radar. Could be another week before we hear anything on Kyel Reid, signing him could mean we push Haynes up front, hopefully.

He's spoken twice to him now, that doesn't suggest to me that he is a player who we are not pursuing, or who is about to leave the Club. I may be wrong, but I think that they are possibly trying to come to an agreement financially - other Clubs may be able to offer more, who knows?
