I have it on good authority that it's ...... Newell has targeted younger players to add to his squad Luton boss Mike Newell has bid for five new players using some of the £3m that the club received for Curtis Davies. Davies left the Hatters to join West Brom on deadline day in August. Newell told BBC Sport: "We have made written offers to clubs. One has been accepted and we hope at least another two of the other four are too. "I cannot name names but one of the players is a striker(Nardiello), one is a wide-right midfielder(Shuker), two are central midfielders(Howard McPhail) and one can play anywhere(Wroe)."
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>
OK the last one gave it away-it's a wind up!!

Was about to post about this... I can see it being Shuker. A lower-division right winger. Now, Shuker has his critics, but he has scored 9 goals this season from right-wing, and also has quite a few assists. Coupled with the fact that he scored two and was excellent against Luton last season. I'd say its a decent shout since Newell says they're from lower-league clubs, and if it is him, I hope we don't sell.
