Went in on Friday. Done a great job with limited space. Nice interior with some good ale at reasonable price. Only one unisex toilet tho which ain't ideal if pub is busy! Great little venue and hope it works out for them.
been in wath taps a few times since it opened , another quality real ale bar ,excellent to see more opening
Was it busy on the nights you've been in. It looked busy on its opening night, hope it takes off there's some great places down the arcade.
Been packed both times. I went on the first Satdi it was open then after the Everton match. Didn't get a seat first time but sat upstairs second time.
Went in Saturday. Importantly it has no smell which can sometimes blight real ale places. Much more pleasant.
Doesn't sell the type of stuff I drink but I've tried it and enjoyed the atmosphere in there, not quite as sterile as Old No. 7 but it is absolutely tiny Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Spot on. Too many folk including myself at times moaning about not having this and that and then travelling to Leeds for it, if we supported what's here already we may entice other businesses/idea's. It may be a small pub but that's what they've gone for, small, intimate and unique. Leave all the other crap to multi-million pound Walkabout.
Not been in yet as not been back to Barnsley since the Walsall game. Hope to get in pre-match somethime but I'm guessing it'll get rammed.
Very small but great place. Could do with another alehouse down the arcade to take some of the weight off them, plus that'd encourage more people to come and visit Arcade, Old No 7 and then one other. Proving to be very popular. Got talking one of the women that works in there, who is the daughter of the owner, and it's been really successful so far. They're hopeful of keeping it going. Will definitely be going in most weekends to try and do my bit.
O'Dwyers or whatever it is now would be great as a real ale bar. Or convert the old Harrell's jeweller shop that's empty.
