    Watford Parking Information

Lots on streets off of Watford Town Centre are Resident Permit Holders only and the local authority are quite hot enforcing it. Mr Brother lives in Watford and guess who will be using his Visitors Parking Permit :D

    Dont know

Havent thought about it too much
There are trains every half an hour and it only takes 15 mins so with a tube strike looming its worth giving some consideration.
Dont think I would do that with tube running properly though.

Are you driving or coming on train - if driving it may be worth looking at parking a 30 minute walk away or something, or parking on an unfashionable bus route, if on train coming through Watford probably a good idea

I have booked a site near the stadium...

... cost &pound;25 but if I'd eventually found a space at Watfordthe cost of the parking andtwo train returnswould be approx &pound;20. The big problem I can see is getting away from the ground after the match so I may be stuck in the car park for some considerable time !</p>

    No

Only times I have driven to Wembley I have parked in the Stadium Carpark ( for Arena events or Dog racing at the old stadium) when car park is big enough - footy always used the tube

There is a parking exclusion zone surrounding the stadium see page 13 of this
    http://www.brent.gov.uk/wembley.nsf/24878f4b00d4f0f68025663c006c7944/28e75fc18329e9348025711e003077bd/$FILE/Book%202%20-%20final%20proof%20b.pdf

but outside this there should be street parking but it will be a 30 minute walk - uless you want to risk Ikea or the surrounding industrial estate - not sure how they enforce parking then.

There are quite a few NCP carparks within a couple of miles you can even book at - may be worth a look at this link if it works
    http://www.ncp.co.uk/multimapForm.aspx?pointerid=55434d359a1649a09dd71ae24baee767

Sudbury town underground station is only a mile away then also the undergrounds at Perivale, North Ealing, Harrow on the Hill are all within 2 miles - I think street parking in these areas may be free on Sundays but one of the london tykes can probably confirm or otherwise
