Any one of the following five scenarios will be enough to see us stay up: - Barnsley Win (Obviously) - Leeds Lose to Ipswich - Leeds draw with Ipswich - Hull lose to Cardiff - Hull draw with Cardiff and Barnsley Draw with Leicester If we draw or lose on Saturday, Leeds win and Hull don’t lose then it will go to the final game. If WBA don’t win at Coventry then they will need a win on their last game to guarantee a play off place. The worst case scenario is that we lose this Saturday and both Hull and Leeds win with WBA losing, this will leave us 2 points clear of relegation with an inferior goal difference to Leeds and then having to play WBA who will need a win.
then this is contradictory isn't it? pedantic aren't I ?? If we draw or lose on Saturday, Leeds win and Hull don’t lose then it will go to the final game. If WBA don’t win at Coventry then they will need a win on their last game to guarantee a play off place.
"- Hull draw with Cardiff and Barnsley Draw with Leicester " I got that one almost missed it though. To add to the worst case scenario, should Sunderland win Burnley (Friday night match) and Birmingham win Sheff W then Derby either draw or lose away to Palace (Monday night match) it will mean Derby have nothing to play for against Leeds on the last day and they will more than likely rest some key players ready for the play offs (unless they get the urge to risk injury’s and promotion just to send Leeds down ).
Good point and its not pathetic, I would rather be in the know this Saturday (with my tissues in one hand and bottle of champers in the other)
Billy Davies is their manager. He was at preston when they lost to leeds in the playoff semi last year. Second leg was a very bad tempered affair. Hope he wants to stick it to them.
