    Try the Full House at Monk Bretton or The Pheasant up Ardsley both very good.The Full House being a carvery and The Pheasant food served on platters and delivered to your table.

    Burntwood at Brierley does a lovely carvery. Nice bar too!

    They havn't a license to have children in the pub!

    But the children thing depends..... i had my 12 old son in there without any problems! What they don't want is kids in the bar running around!

    You can do no better than Burntwood at Brierley plus it has a brilliant kids room.

    Royal Oak at Platts Common in Hoyland is spot on for Sunday Dinner. Carvery on all afternoon.
