I am having problems opening my e-mails in Outlook Express - there are 32 messages to retrieve going back to Friday 24th November, but whenever it reaches message no. 13, a pop-up box appears that says 'Your POP3 server has not responded in 60 seconds.  Would you like to wait another 60 seconds for the server to respond?'  I continue to wait, but the same message appears over and over again and then it starts to duplicate the 12 e-mails I've already received.  I'm starting to get really frustrated now - can anybody help please?!

Has your ISP got a webmail facility? If it has, I would try retrieving your email via that method as it sounds like your ISP is playing up.

Sometimes get the same error message with outlook. One easy way out is to do a system restore to a date when you know the system worked. This always clears up the bug on my machine.
If you want to read and delete your mail, try using mail2web.com.

Thanks for the advice - I've retrieved my e-mails via mail2web.com (handy little facility) and have deleted the troublesome no. 13 (from a dodgy e-mail address made up of symbols) there.  Hopefully, Outlook Express will work as normal now.
