Any techies around? (digital photo frame)

    They are very much of a muchness, except of course the really cheap ones, but just a thought, I have come across 2 people who have one and wished they had never. They are great for a while, then they got fed up of it taking their concentration from the telly or whatever they are doing, then they get switched on when granny visits.

    As a test..

    Set your screen saver to My Pictures and select 50 or so photo files, move your PC into your front room and leave it turned on all the time.</p>

    If you can live with it then a digital photo frame is a good idea, if like most people with half a brain or more you throw the fecker through the window (or just turn it off) within an hour then it wouldn't be a good investment!</p>

    Thanks for your comments both of you. I just think they may get some use out of it, and I can't think of anything else to get them for xmas (my mam & dad, I mean).
