If you speak Welsh you may be able to assist in this bit I need translating. The word are on a grave stone and are in upper case: WRTH TREAD UR IESU. I think it says "till we meet at the feet of Jesus. Thanks for any help you can give.
Wrong. It means "Opta Index for 11 year olds". It seems there's a problem with your translation book.
RE: 11 year old what? Rottweilers. The Rottweiler Opta Index rates the dogs performance over a year - taking into account the number of people it has bitten, how many times it has had to be smacked with a hammer to get it to release a child & how many other dogs it has savaged. This translation book of yours is rubbish.
my mates reply Literally it means 'by Jesus's feet' but I guess it really means 'walking in Jesus' footsteps' ??? or something like that
So Tyrone, your mate can speak/translate welsh? But your infinate wisdom can make more out of it than he can?
Even though you can't speak a word of Welsh?
Now that really is special.

And her answer...... Should be "Wrth Draed Yr Iesu" - incorrect mutation in original, apparently. Concurs that it means "By Jesus' Feet". Literally, no interpretation required.
I'll post your words.... 'by Jesus's feet' but I guess it really means 'walking in Jesus' footsteps' ???
No it means by Jesus' feet.
Dumpling.
