if so why dont they dont just say instead of havin people guessin so basically will be a run around gettin cash tommorow with palace on saturday
said on website tkts may go on sale as early as sunday, they need to get a move on otherwise they will run out of time to sell them
Plenty of time to sell them even if Monday, 7 - 10 days for season ticket holders. Then a week for general sale.
At the beginning of the week the Club announced that there would be further details on Friday (tomorrow), once the meetings had taken place (today) to find out actual ticket allocation, prices etc. They also said that the tickets would probably go on sale on Monday. From Official site: NO SEMI FINAL INFORMATION UNTIL LATER THIS WEEK AT THE EARLIEST Posted on: Mon 10 Mar 2008 BARNSLEY Football Club General Manager Don Rowing, together with representatives of the other FA Cup Semi Finalists, will visit FA Headquarters this Thursday to discuss ticketing arrangements for next month's showpiece games. Barnsley Football Club expect to be in a position to confirm ticketing arrangements for our historic FA Cup Semi Final on Friday afternoon at the very earliest. And EARLY WEMBLEY TICKETING INFORMATION Posted on: Tue 11 Mar 2008 BARNSLEY FC General Manager Don Rowing has received early ticketing information for our FA Cup Semi Final against Cardiff City at Wembley Stadium. The game will be played on the weekend of April 5/6, 2008, with the date and time to be confirmed. Early indications are that Barnsley Football Club will be allocated around 30,000 tickets for the game and these will be priced at £55, £45, £35 and £25. Barnsley Football Club will also be allocated a number of tickets for disabled supporters and helpers, who should contact the Oakwell Box Office for availability. Reservations may be made from March 17, 2008. Although full details, dates and times are still to be finalised by the Club, Wembley Stadium and the FA, Barnsley FC will sell tickets for this game in the following order: 1. Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase up to FOUR TICKETS. 2. Non Season Ticket Holders who are members of the Oakwell Centenary Society will be able to purchase TWO TICKETS on production of their membership card / payment book. Supporters with ticket stubs from our match with Ipswich Town will be able to purchase ONE TICKET at this time. 3. General Sale More information will be confirmed later this week.
so basically what u do then laura if they go on sale sunday plenty of notice that so they tell u friday aft your at palace sat all runnin about everywhere friday night 4 cash and then away monday night for 2weeks
Thye did say that Laura, but then announced the order in which they would be selling tickets .... on the same day, thus contradicting their originalstatement. If they are in a position to be able to say when they'll start selling tickets, then why not say so now, instead of feeding the fans titbits? That way, people can start to make arrangements for taking time off work/queueing etc. At the time of writing, both West Bromwich and Cardiff have announced their sale dates, so why can't we do the same?
I'm in a similar position to you, bfc4life1980 - I'll be away over the weekend, so if they could just make an announcement now regarding ticket sales, then I can make arrangements with family/friends to queue for tickets.
