my dad gad one which i drove quite a bit. great to drive but poor for petrol and you have to do more regular maintenance with the ****le engine especially oil. i've been tempted myself as the second hand prices are so cheap!
Had one for about 4 years roughly its about 300 miles to a full tank - living 200 miles from Oakwell makes home games pretty pricey these days. The good news is it doesn't seem to make much difference whether you drive carefully or thrash it so you may as well enjoy it. Goes through plenty of tyres too and don't bother if you live amongst speed bumps as you'll be constantly replacing the anti roll drop links.
Had one and loved it, but you only get 20mpg and oil needs topping up regularly. Low purchase price means it can still work out cheaper than similar cars, unless you are a high mileage driver.
I had one for a while - great fun - great drive - heavy on the fuel, but if you nurse it you can get a bit more out of it - but that is no fun!
We had an older model, the RX3 lovely engine, really smooth went like s**t off a shovel, unfortunately Mazda have never solved the Fuel issue with the rotary engine, the manual claimed 18-23,but it was more 18 than 23,unless you've got large pockets or do very few miles I would avoid it....nice motor though they are
I did a job once a few years ago.........I think it was at Dodworth ..........it was an old run down sort of place. They sold kegs of beer and pop etc. There was a garage attached to it and the guy, who lived across the road, had a stack of mazda sports cars in there that he was doing up.
