No but I've been following that, ascot and Carlisle on bet365. Custom Cut and Redkirk in the bank. 3 winners at York yesterday (wet wet wet were alright too) and Osaila at Ascot. I've covered my weekend and a bit over.
Well, to be totally objective Ponty, the race kinda fell apart. The only real danger to Lockhart was the Ed Dunlop dodgepot Hanno. Very predictably, that one decided not to go on when in the lead, leaving Lockhart to win by nearly two lengths. There was little else to pose a danger to Lockhart in the race. I took 2/1 this morning, but the SP of 13/8 was probably still good value. Lockhart's purchase price and his form to date suggest he should be able to pick up a handicap or two. There was still improvement to come on today's performance. To be honest, that result came as a relief - I've had three torrid days with the Ascot King George meeting. Hopefully, Glorious Goodwood will bring some profits this week! That's the thing about racing - there's always something else just around the corner! But today, it's three cheers for Lockhart!
He looked like coming through easily when the stream froze. I'm on form at the moment. In the last month or so I reckon I'm on c.40% hit rate. 4 out 8 yesterday, 3 out of 7 today. I know it won't last though.
