I want for two weeks in June, stayed at Iberostar in Yasmine. Went with Wife and two year old.

Was a good holiday, weather was very, very hot though.

No hassle when went out and about (apart from the usual shopkeepers).

A while back now, but we had two weeks near Hammamet in 1993. Nice hotel and great beach, but we were going stir crazy after a while, so went on a three day 'desert safari' by jeep. Fantastic fun! Slept in the caves where they'd filmed the original Star Wars, visited a huge Roman ampitheatre at El D'jem, trip to an oasis town, sand-surfing down the biggest dunes you've seen.

Didn't have any issues with food. We went A.I. so only really ate in the hotel, not outside.

    No sense of humour.

Woke up the first morning not long after bloody dawn to that infernal rooftop wailing. I hung out of the window and shouted an English translation, local news, weather bloody hot again, that kind of thing. later that day the rep told us all that the police had been round and advised whoever it was not to do it again.

    Miserable bast4rds.

Re: Played at Bingo in the Hotel

The caller gave every number in Arabic,German,French,Italian, English,Japanese and a couple of others we couldnt work out, One card took over an hour...... and DONT shake hands with any of the shopkeepers, thats accepted as a sale, and they can call the cops if you dont pay up.... and dont go during Ramadan (which I think is on now) you wont get any grub until after sundown
