Ok Im conviced there's a problem,

But I haven't seen it at all. What web browsers do you all use? (Im using IE7).

I'm going to remove the google search thingy from the bottom of the page and will take a look at the server. Have just looked at downloads in fidler and everything seems fairly quick.

Pft. Just what I wanted to do after spending the last 13 hours trying to sort out preformance problems on the NHS UK website (shithappens)

    using firefox

don't always have the problem but it does happen every day at some point.

Other sites work straight away but facebook falls out at the same time.

it's fine for me most of the time

but occasionally pages will sit there attempting to load for a LONG time, eventually they will load but more often than not hitting refresh will make them load at the normal speed, not sure if that makes any difference about what it could be though.

Also posting takes a while when i press submit, around 20-30 seconds for the page to load.

    Use IE7

Sometimes (like now) very quick but often painfully slow recently.

I use both Firefox and IE7

and often get very slow page loading - but then next few pages load quickly. Posting often slower

    Never spotted any pattern though

I use my BT Yahoo browser

Which I think is a version of Internet Explorer. Problems experienced are very similar to Farnham's.

    Ok.

I've changed a few things but suspect there may be an issue with the database server falling over periodically. Could I ask people to PM me with a description of what happened and when problems occur?

ive just jumped to firefox from IE7 to see if that was the issue

constantly locking up and taking ages when clicing on the links. But its random when it happens.

Might be losing packets somewhere or summert.
