    Walking towards the ground at about 25 to 3 - as John Dennis was standing outside the West Stand - didn't mind him as a striker! (Biggins not Dennis!)

    Went on same coach to Cheltenham wi Biggins

    always had his lad out

    saying ' anyone seen ace of clubs ? '

    not a bad lad but got a bit annoying after a bit

    By the way

    I have been discussing that round with several people including a few publicans. The general opinion is that the guy can't add up.

    And I thought it was going to be our lucky day - soon came down to earth

    Normally I'd have tried to give them some more money but as we'd waited so long to get served I wasn't going to queue again just to get it right. And anyway it was my Dad's round, the lucky barsteward.
