Why the West Stand ???

There are about 32 acres of land round the WELL.
So in the current building climate I would say "go for it, get some of it sold, and some houses built"

    RE: Oakwell Community Assets

Maybe thats the answer. Maybe the loan is to enable the club to buy back the ground etc from Cryne and the Council. It would then make the club a more attractive purchase in the event of a take over bid.

    Its total *****..

but ifa loan isto be added to a football grant I can't see it being for houses.

I'd like to see the west stand developed, ok its old and stuff but I think its time to move on.A new stand witha few shops maybea community based outlet with decent facilities(re:pish wall), has got to be more beneficial to the club.

btw, anyone got a season ticket for the west stand this season?

    Season ticket

Not renewed yet but have the forms and everything I am fairly sure all the people round me will be renewing and I will probably lose all rational thought and do the same
