Anybody else think that Site Admin are being really petty by blocking links to Vital Tykes site?

He cannot help the fact that Vital Football is a professional football website and message board and so won't allow links to other message boards yet City Tyke won't allow him to link to the site and nobody can link to news stories that are published there.</p>

the official barnsley site doesn't link to here but we can link to it, bbc doesnt, totaltykes dont, tykes mad don't, teamtalk doesnt etc etc but links are allowed to all them yet Vital Barnsley is being singled out for some unknown reason despite Vital Tyke being a user of this site.</p>

Opinions anyone? Fair or unjust?</p>

Not really wanting to get into it, but I think it's because Vital Tyke's only contributions to the board are to post links to the website, which seemingly only consisted of stories that were sourced from the BBS.

Might be summat to do with Vital being a commercial organisation, but then again so are all the others. There's no chance of the official site being allowed to link to this site, but then again it would be a bit self defeating not to discuss the content of the official site, or not to link to it

No. Fingering and fisting animals is a hobby, not a job.

 

I don't think that that's been his only contribution, he posts regularly and doesnt link to Vital Barnsley very often really and the official site could link to this message board if it wanted to, under the premium TV terms they are allowed to use any message board that they want (rotherham for example use a phpbb board) for some reason though Barnsley took the decision not to offer a message board facility to its supporters.</p>

They concocted a topical excuse and closed it.

The reason links to Vital are blocked is that they don't reciprocate.
