Anybody got/had this flu that's been doing the rounds?

Day 5 - absolutely flattened.</p>

Never pumped so many drugs into me that end up doin nowt.</p>

Doc says I have to sit it out. Never felt so poorly :'( </p>

Colleagues at work have had/got it. One colleague had it for several weeks. It's a pretty nasty one.

 

ive had man flu (thats cold to us lasses) all week, do u mean that?

.......you'll have it for at least a couple of weeks mate. The upside is it'll kickstart any diet you were thinking of going on. </p>

To be honest, you're probably right.</p>

But I've felt worse than I have for years and have hardly been outta bed for a week now. Worst thing has been trying to control the fever.</p>

I got it along with half the town a few years ago.Temperature and pulse both over 100, lost about 20lb. There were beds in the coridoors at the hospital and they were down to skeleton staff.Chin up mate, you're probably over the worst and on the home stretch now.</p>

Flu makes you hallucinate, pass out and wish you were dead. Manfully of course.</p>

but i got this nasty Cough
i went out shopping yesterday
and ebery other person i went by i heard them cough,cough
i went toa shop and the managers ,was Cough, Cough
i went to the Chemist for my tablets
and she said here you BOB cough ,cough,
there was this lass sweeeping the shop
not a sign of dust
i said your doing a good job
thanks she said Cough,bark Cough
i came home quickley
not been out sine Cough,cough

 

In my fifth week at the moment. Keep thinking I've shaken it and then it comes back with a vengeance. For the first time this winter, I was persuaded to have the Flu Jab. I doubt I shall be having it again.

 

Me and both kids got chicken pox.They're running around the house like nothings up with them,I'm in bed covered from head to toe in these painful itchy spots.No energy,no appetite just wished i got them when i was a kid.

 

Ive got summat, i know that!! Nose cant decide wether it wants to run or just bung up!! Throats killin me & i cant sleep at night!! God knows wots up wi me!! Tell thi summat tho i wish it would hurry up n bugger off!!!

 

yep, I've got it! Bin off work 4 2 days, got no energy 2 do owt at all. cudn't even be bothered 2 cheer when we scored the equaliser!! ow bads that!!
