59 years driving 'plonker' without an accident or fine. No need for the abuse. I am asking for a mate who was unfortunately driving my car. The case appears to be a bit 'trumped up' as at the time of the so called offence was sitting in a Little Chef and the receipt says so date and time on the doorstep of the camera. Mobile camera apparently which could mean when he drove past the little chef car park.

And how does that prove it was the driver of the vehicle in the cafe?

 

Cos he had a table full of witnesses who all have watches the receipt time was correct.

 

Well I must make sure then that every cafe I go in I check that the time on the receipt matches that on my watch - it's good that he does that!

But you've admitted that he was driving the car, you aren't disputing that - so tell him to just pay up

I've looked at it and it can be done but there's a lot of detail to go through - 'rigmarole' I think is the appropriate word! If the detail is wrong you'll probably have a case.

But if you've done the crime........

Thanks for the info and links. Not trying to get out of paying up and not condoning speeding but I have the slight suspicion it was a 'bit' of a set up.
Perhaps the picture will help. Anyway thanks for the various views.
