Anybody had laser eye surgery?

I'm having it done next week.

What are you having your eyes replaced?

 

The wife and her sister have

has worked really well for the wife

 

But not for her sister?

 

didn't work quite as well for her

she now wears glasses again, but nowhere near the strength of those she wore before the op.

Wife had it done nearly 7 years ago, she was very short-sighted and it gave her perfect vision. she has the odd problem with 'dry eyes' and 'starburst vision' but they are very minor and nothing compared to the benefits of having excellent vision.

Meanwhile my eyes have steadily got worse and I now have to wear specs all the time though, ******!

 

Mind you, she said the worst thing about having it done was..

when the laser actually does it, it's the smell of burning flesh!
