Has anybody had a problem with EAC fail on Ford Fiesta? I was driving through Brodsworth this morning on the way to work and drove through some decent size puddles - next thing my dash is saying EAC fail and car has lost all power. Called the AA but when he got to me that car was fine again. Just been looking on some forums and by the looks of it its quite a common thing with Fiesta. Anybody else had the same and what did you do?
    Cheers!

Try not driving through big puddles, it doesn't help any car.

Had a similar prob with a focus. The glow plugs on my diesel engine had crap sheathing (recognised problem - no recall) hence water got in from big puddles and stopped the engine in the fast lane of the M1!

By the time the AA came out, it could have dried out.

Be careful with any garage, because they struggle to pin point the problem, they will try to convince you it is solved because they drove it with no probs.

All of the above assumes you have a diesel mind!?
