Anybody know owt about Hi-Fi's?

Im in a bit of a dilemma, ive got a Kenwood series 21 stacker system hi fi at the minute with 6 speakers and one bass speaker in the surround sound system. The sound quality is unreal, but it dont halve occupy some space. I would like a new hi fi of simelar spec or performance to the series 21 but one that doesent take up halve of the room space to set up? any help or tecnical knowledge would be greatfully recieved. TIA
