    I've been to job centre this morning 1st time i've EVER considered drawing benefits, gave me a phone number, 40 minutes and a barrage of questions later, i've managed to sort out an interview with the dole office just to see if I can claim anything!
    Also had a walk around all the work agencies in town and had to arrange an interview with a Polish guy to see if i'm eligible to work in the UK! (chinny)

    usually earn between £20-£25 per hour as a freelance civil engineer, looking for ANYTHING but struggling at the mo :'(

    ****. well I doubt you will find anything that pays so well just like that. I think everyone is struggling at the moment. You can normally find factory work quite easily though. Badly paid and crppy work, but I've always found the money useful when I couldn't do anything else.

    Otherwise call centres. But then you would have to lie about yur intention to stay. Just a bit of cash to tide you through?

    yeh its tough now. I want a would like a new job, but suppose I shoild be happy to have one.
