Did it on Sunday...

I'm waiting for an arthroscopy in a week to see if there is any ligament damage.

The 1st few days I had massive swelling and bruising which has now subsided. Is thisa sign that my ligaments are intact or just natural?

I can walk but with a lot of pain still so I use the Aircast I was given by the surgeon.

There will be plenty of ligament damage.

Did you throw up? I did. Never ever known such pain.

No although when I took my boot off at the Hospital

and saw it for the first time I went a bit green around the gills.

BDGH decided it was ok to send me home though cos it wasn't broken...without even a bandage or painkillers.

Luckily I'm in Bupa so went to see a specialist on Monday who pretty much said my ankle was fecked and will probably need pinning together.

The 1st few days were the worst pain I have ever had to contend with. Its not too bad now but I'm hoping its not as bad as 1st thought so I can still look forward to playing sport this summer.

    I'm dreaming like.

I've got a quality rather large plastic boot on

that would be perfect for ramming down his throat.

    Yep

Fell off the road at carnival in Trindad and then passed out with the pain.
Most of the locals thought I was pissed so just left me in the gutter.
Luckly enough a rasterman, spotted the trouble and knocked it back into place. But I had difficulty walking for over a year.

    such happy memories of carnival

I've never dislocated my ankle, but I had a bad hair day yesterday, so I'm sure I share your pain.

I'd call TFP if I were you

I'm sure he can make you feel a lot better on that front.
