Yes mate Between 3 - 7 days.
The pain isn't severe though. The 1st day is the only bad day although the drugs take the pain away considerably.

RE: Yes mate Aye I'm on to that now terry, lovely person*****s to be precise, had both done today and the pain is unbelievable.... But its starting to wear of a tad now with the smokes, its the morning what worries me though....
Just of a evening i enjoy the Orange the pain killers will take care of the Daytime i reckon.... (Y) .... Ahh well a fortnight of Work will go towards easing things, yesssss....
Washing the backs of the knees out is a fairly routine procedure with minimal discomfort. Depending on what the problem is though, it rarely is a cure for the underlying problem.
At the minute to be honest it don't feel like minimal discomfort! but then again i hate pain, i must have a low threshold to it.... But your right in that washing is no real cure unfortunately. They've telled me its more than likely i will have to have replacement Knees in the near future so i will have to see when i next go to the Appointment i have what the outcome will be.... PS I'm only feeling sorry for myself hence the moaning.... (Y) ....
If you do eventually have to have a repalacement knee, take my advice and opt to have it done on the NHS at Barlborough hospital (near Chesterfield) they specialize in such operations and you would be hard pressed to get better care elsewhere (private hosps inc). I hope it does'nt come to that for you, but if it does, I would strongly recommend this hospital to you.
