    Just been looking for something and came accros the "United Review" program when we were over there in 1988, and read this quote relating to past cup matches " That all came of course after the fifth round tie at Oakwell which we won 4 - 0, with goals from George Best 2, Denis Law and David Herd. .... That game was in Feb 1964. That was the year I moved away and missed it.. bugger............ We ended up with 10 men .

    I have been told on numerous occasions about said game.......

    and until my Dad gets to 100 i'm sure i'll hear it more times. I wish i was born to see it but I have vivid pictures inprinted in my brain from 30 years of fable.</p>

    "Please be in your place by 2.30". I was outside the ground at 8.00 a m and one of the first inside when the doors opened about midday as I remember. Smack next to the MUFC dugout.
