18pt comeback against Patriots just don't happen Two African American coaches to lead there teams out at Superbowl I tell you something over this season i have become more and more obsessed with this game and could easily drop football over it anyday
Aye - incredible comeback. Was rooting for Saints and Pats last night..........oh well, never mind! Did you see Reggie Bush's TD for the Saints? Brilliant run. Have you been to a live game? There'll be a regular season game over here next season (most likely at Wembley)....won't be anything like attending one in the US but worth going to nonetheless.
Cannot wait for either the Giants or Dolphins to play at probably Wembley. It will sell out without a doubt and be a cracking atmosphere. Their is already a fair few of us planning a trip down when it gets comfirmed. Shame Saints couldn't overcome one more obstical. But glad to see the state had something to cheer at last. Hopefully now Manning can break his superbowl duck. Be silly if he ends up another Dan Marino.
Re: off to Miami in autum to see Dolphins v Cowboys! cant wait cant wait for wembley game either although tickets will be gold dust.
That's the downside for me - they are talking about a possible Giants v Dolphins....2 of my most disliked teams! I'm rooting for the Bears in the Superbowl.
Re: off to Miami in autum to see Dolphins v Cowboys! cant wait How have you managed that when the schedule isn't announced yet? (although the opponents have been but not dates) How are you getting tickets? I've been to 2 games, Carolina @ New Orleans in 2000, and Minnesota @ Chicago in 2005. Going to New York in March - got tickets for Rangers v Ottawa and Rangers v Boston in the ice hockey and NY Knicks basketball (not bothered about it but my mate is a big fan)
Re: off to Miami in autum to see Dolphins v Cowboys! cant wait we're gonna book the holiday and then try and get tickets as soon as the shedule is announced. Hopefully we should get some, it pains me to say but the dolphins are so bad that tickets shouldnt be in demand. How easy is it to get tickets for these things? I've been to some sollege games but never an NFL game.
this thread is surely a piss take??? i mean nobody likes american football... unless your american, right???
Re: off to Miami in autum to see Dolphins v Cowboys! cant wait In 2000 when I went to New Orleans I was advised by someone who lives there that'd I'd have no problem getting a ticket on the day as they'd had a few poor seasons. I got one ok from the ticket office. They got to the playoffs that season and I later found out that all but 1 home game had been a sellout in advance! I dropped lucky. It was their 3rd home game and they didn't start well, so presume first couple of games sold out, they then had a couple of poor results resulting in tickets available for the Panthers game which I went to and they won, they then won next 2 on the road so sales picked up. I booked tickets online through their website for the Atlanta game in 2005, but Katrina hit and they went on the road for the whole season and tickets were refunded. Reorganised my plans and went to Chicago instead, game was sold out but I found a website www.stubhub.com where fans can sell on tickets - I got a $70 ticket for $115, theres a sell on fee taken by the website and part of this goes to the club, it's all legitimate. So as soon as the schedule is announced and tickets go on sale try the Dolphins website, when you pick up tickets you need to take the credit card you booked them with and some picture ID (i.e. passport), if you can't get from there then try Stubhub…..you might have to phone them once you've found the tickets you want as they didn't handle addresses outside of the US, however when I phoned them they sorted it out, fed-ex'd the tickets to my hotel for me to pick up on arrival.
Hockey Would love to see an NHL game. Maple Leafs are my team (I can never seem to pick a winning team!) and was in Toronto a while back for work, but they were on a road trip the week I was there. Typical.
I went to watch the Giants against Tampa Bay a few months back. Decent stadium and the atmosphere is a lot more friendly. Check out the site below its the one I used to sort out tickets and think you can get a link to any team you want. http://www.giants.com/gameday/nfl_stats.html Give me a big football game anytime over over it though.
I went to see the Giants play the Seahawks in 2002.
9-6 , no touchdowns and $150 for the ticket.
Food was very expensive , it was year after 9/11 so the security was well over the top.
40 stone bloke sat next to me almost broke my arm when he sat down without looking.

the problem is there is only gonna be 8 home games, 7 if you take away the game at Wembley. I've seen a few NBA, NHL and baseball games and there piss easy to get tickets for cos they play shed loads of games.
Re: off to Miami in autum to see Dolphins v Cowboys! cant wait A member on my site is a season ticket holder at Minesota Vikings. Not the greatest of seasons for them.
