    Stop it you insensitive *******s.

I understand you are angry but please stray away from using the death of a person to embellish your anger. It isn't needed and it isn't connected.

    Agreed, two totally unconnected things.

I think its pretty evident what I mean Andy. People saying the club should not have done this on the day of Rimmo's funeral.

I understand that people are angry at Winnall going to a rival, but its not connected to the funeral of Norman Rimmington. At least 2 posts this morning have ranted about the fact that its poor form for Barnsley to sell someone today.

My point is, be angry all you want but dont use Rimmos funeral to embellish your anger. Just say your ******* angry about us selling Winnall.

I don't think people are using it as a tool to bash the club. Just more its a shame that on this day when it should be all about Rimmo that fans will have other thoughts on their minds and wont be able to help being angry at the club despite the sad occasion.

i assume that's targeted at me. see andytyke's response. you've taken my comments the wrong way, and i don't appreciate the insult. i'm well aware aware they're not connected, and what you're suggesting absolutely wasn't my intention. let's just leave it there, shall we.

i'm actually going to heed your underlying sentiment though and log off for the day. i want to spend the day remembering rimmo, not getting consumed by anger on a fans forum.

    peace.

It wasnt just aimed at you Marc.

Generally, your posts are one which I read so dont take it personally.

When someone writes about Winnall and then the funeral of Rimmo in a sentence then by proxy you are connecting the two and so did Huddersfield Red. Its insensitive and maybe you didnt mean for that to happen, but alas in the way it was written and by a few others thats the way it is read.

I knew Rimmo, I will be at the funeral shortly. My point being that people on here and on facebook think it adds more weight and argument to Winnall being sold because it is the day of the funeral.

They are both completely separate and anyone that think otherwise is completely out of order imho.

I don't blame Barnsley FC at all. If someone's had their head turned by another club, there's no point keeping him. The timing is the fault of Winnall and SWFC.

I agree with pontyender. The guy lives in Sheffield and presumably is well settled there, so if the opportunity of more money comes up in the city he is living he'll take it. In the summer the chance of joining a local high payer might not have been there and he may have been bought by a Bristol or QPR.

I'm not too sure what to make of it.

It just seems a bit wrong that Winnall dedicates his goal to Rimmo then on the day of his funeral he's sat there grinning signing a Sheff Wednesday contract.

Might be unconnected but feels morally wrong
