    Lame reasons like:

    "They'll fetch more fans"

    "It'll be a great day out" (what at Bellend Road? Jesus wept!)

    "They're a club with great history"

    "We've got more chance of beating Leeds than Donny" (but more chance of finishing below Leeds, so that reason makes a lot of sense!)

    The mind completely boggles, if I could wear a Donny shirt tomorrow and watch the game I would, come on the Pikeys!

    TBH i'm ambivalent

    Leeds stay down...funny as ****, Leeds come up..its likely to happen eventually, little lost.
    Donnt stay down...funny as ****, Donny come up..they are not likely to stay.

    Either way we have to put up with an arrogant arse of a chairman and fans, and get to take the piss out of more of less of the same.

    Plain and simple

    Donny are a lower league outfit and we don't want them in the Championship.

    I could live with admin, relegation and the like but finishing below Donkey Rovers in the 2004/05 season, with them having done the double over us, was about my lowest ebb in 20+ years of supporting Barnsley.

    While ever they remain at least one division below us, that can never happen again.

    Arrogant? Maybe. Childish? Probably. True? You betcha.

    My dad's a Leeds season ticket holder. He queued up for hours and hours to get us (me, my mum, my brother) Liverpool/Wembley tickets and didn't come along because he didn't want to deprive "real" Barnsley fans.

    This is his day out at Wembley, and having lost when he went to Cardiff a few years ago, I don't begrudge him the feeling we had at the Millennium Stadium.

    But the risk of relegation for us increases if Leeds win

    As they will spend big, attract high profile players, and prove far far bigger a threat over the course of the season than Donny would.

    If you hate Donny as much as you say, surely seeing them struggle in the Championship would prove better to see than watching them have another good season next year while we fight it out with Blackpool, Coventry, Burnley and Southampton to stay in the division?

    So what if we then got relegated, and Donny came up, we would then be a whole division lower than them, which would surely be your lowest ebb as a Barnsley fan?

    Bigger picture needed, we need the Pikeys to turn over the scum today!
