The British radio industry has begun its search for the next audio stars of the future, recently launching a brand new annual awards event called the Young ARIAS awards.

The awards are all about celebrating radio and audio created by budding stars aged 08 – 18 years old, encouraging school radio stations, podcasts, homemade audio projects, community and hospital radio contributors and DJs to enter their work for a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

Entering the awards is straightforward, and they're also completely free to enter! The closing date for entries is Friday 15 March with the awards taking place on Friday 17 May.
